Paint Correction

-Gets rid of swirls and scratches to get the most out of your paint.

We use a 2-step paint correction process for moderate paint defects that gets rid of 90% of swirls, scratches, and oxidation in your paint.

Our 2-step paint correction process uses a compound to remove deeper scratches and swirls, followed by a polish to refine the finish.

Deep scratches may not be removed due to the condition of the paint. Our goal is to restore your paint to excellent condition not 100% perfection.

Why do swirl marks and scratches appear?

Swirl marks or cobweb scratches, are tiny circular scratches in a car’s clear coat that become visible in the sunlight or under bright lighting. Swirl marks don’t usually penetrate the actual paint and are normally found solely in the clear coat but can dull the car’s finish and visual appearance.

Swirl marks are caused by:

-Dragging dirt or grit across the paint’s surface

-Automatic car wash brushes

-Wiping dust or debris without rinsing

-Improper washing methods such as using abrasive sponges, towels, or brushes

Our steps

[1] Rise the vehicle before wash

Starting with a light touchless rinse to get of debris that would potentially damage the paint

[2] Foam wash

The vehicle will be sprayer with a thick foam layer followed by a safe hand wash using a wash mitt and detail brushes.

[3] Clean wheels

Cleaning the wheels, tires, and fenders requires a different step from the paint because it uses more chemicals and more intensive brushes on the tires and inner fenders.

[4] Remove iron particles

This step uses a chemical iron remover to strip away iron debris that come from brake dust and industrial fallout

[5] Clay bar

The clay bar treatment is used to grab all the debris in the paint that is impossible to remove during the previous treatment. This step ensures that the paint is smooth and ready for the compound stage

[6] Compound

This is the first and more abrasive stage of the paint restoration. This is where the majority of the paint swirls and scratches will be removed.

[7] Polish

The polishing stage is a less abrasive cut than the compound stage and brings the shine and clarity back to the paint.

[8] Decontamination

After the polish and compound have been wiped off the paint, we’ll use a diluted isopropyl alcohol to strip away excess compound or polish.

[9] Wax protection

The final step in the paint correction process is to protect the paint using wax. This will ensure that future scratches and swirl marks will be harder to get but also easier to clean.

[10] Dress and trim

To make your vehicle look sharp we’ll add tire shine, an exterior dressing for more pop.

[11] Windows

To make sure you’ll have clean windows we’ll clean the outside and inside of all your windows leaving a streak-free finish.
